Mercury Online Academy is a unique, nonprofit public charter school that features a blended “face-to-face and online instruction” model. Mercury Online Academy features a unique teacher-led, highly interactive online program and our school’s students most recently scored in the top 5 percent of all online and independent study schools in the state. Mercury is supported by Mosaica education, which has 14 years experience providing full educational services to 50 nonprofit public charter schools primarily located within urban markets in eight states, Washington, D.C. and internationally.The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), a 501(c)(3) organization, is recognized as one of six regional associations that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the United States. The Western region covers institutions in California and Hawaii, the territories of Guam, American Samoa, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of Palau, Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands, the Pacific Basin, and East Asia, and areas of the Pacific and East Asia where American/International schools or colleges apply to it for service.

We are currently serving Kindergarten through 12th grade for the following counties: Riverside, San Diego, Orange, San Bernardino, and Imperial. Each of our learning centers is locally staffed by state-credentialed teachers and each student receives a free laptop computer for use in their studies.
