Mercury Academies are tuition-free, leading-edge public charter schools for students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade. What are Charter Schools?

Charter schools are educational programs that receive public funds but are not subject to the same rules and regulations that apply to other public schools. The difference with charter schools, however, lies in the fact that there is accountability for producing certain results in student achievement. Charter schools serve as an alternative to other public schools and similar to them, are not allowed to charge tuition. Mercury Online Education currently has charter schools in Arizona and Southern California.
