Paragon makes the arts a vital component of a child’s education, while at the same time placing the strongest possible emphasis on the basic skills of reading, writing, and arithmetic. The arts offer children opportunities to assimilate and apply what they have learned in ways relevant and meaningful to their experience. Their enhanced skills of communication, analysis and self-expression enable them to compete far more successfully with their traditional learning classmates.

Although there are those who discount an education in the arts or proclaim that only certain students with a natural creative tendency can benefit, we know otherwise. Art is one of the greatest parts of life. There is artistic expression everywhere we look that helps us appreciate life in all its forms and traditions.

Because of its impact on our daily lives, our Art curriculum is multi-faceted and introduces students to all major works of art from every culture, form and era. We also provide instruction in the creative process itself, including painting, drawing, photography and more.. Students will learn how to enhance their skills and foster their creative processes.
