How our Programs Work
Our programs are designed for the highest quality educational experience, total immersion, effective integration of technology and ease of use. Unlike traditional learning environments, our programs are not negatively impacted by teachers unions, government officials or public groups with an agenda. You’ll find that Mercury Online Education’s courses and curriculum have a specific way of working depending on the program you follow, but they all have the following in common:
- Standard weekly schedule of assignments and tasks for every course
- Access to videos, helpful learning aids and reliable methods of test preparation
- Students have access to other students through Regular online discussions about coursework, all of which are teacher-monitored
- Instructors who are Highly Qualified instructors to teach their specific subject area and who are engaged with the students’ work on an ongoing basis
- School-issued laptop with necessary software preloaded
- Personalized student achievement plans
- National standardized benchmark assessments that measure student’s achievement and progress on a regular basis
- High level of accountability
- Multiple foreign language offerings for all students in all grade levels
- Accredited and aligned to state and national standards
