9-12 Program Description
The Mercury model for grades 9‐12 strives to build upon the independence developed during the middle school years. Our program offers educational choices that will allow them to develop individual interests and life skills while at the same time providing them with a world class college preparatory education.
Curriculum
All curriculum is fully aligned with state standards and upon successful completion, students will have met the state high school graduation requirements. These include a minimum of:
- 4 units of English
- 4 units of Math
- 3 units of Science
- 4 units of Social Studies
- 1 units of Arts/Humanities
- 2 unit of Health and Physical Education
- 2 units of Foreign Language
Students will also have additional elective choices.

- Supplemental literature and readings provided according to student progress and need
- Supplemental manipulatives for art, music, science, math and social studies activities, as prescribed by grade‐level curriculum needs
Class Sessions
Students in grades 9‐12 have subject specific teachers and are expected to check in with each of them daily regarding class progress. In addition to the daily, independent check in, students are required to meet with their teachers as a class for an engaging online, interactive class session in each subject once per week.
