9-12 Weekly Schedule

Expectations:

  • Students are expected to log in and work daily.
  • Student schedules should allow for synchronous online class sessions in each subject area.
  • Students and staff respond to all email and phone communications within 24 hours on school days.

Daily Schedule – Grades 9‐12

NOTE: The Mercury model allows for students to work independently on learning paths identified to address individual student needs. However, within these paths, all students are addressing state standards on a paced schedule, therefore allowing for strong class and community building opportunities each week.

8:00‐9:00
Student logs in to check for email communications, and to view class announcements and the calendar for the day.

9:00‐10:30
Student logs in for online class session.

10:30‐1:00
Student works on daily lessons as outlined by the teacher (in the course calendar). Teachers are available by phone, email, and via the online chat tool for assistance.

1:00‐1:40
Student logs into online class session for math. Teacher activates prior knowledge and presents new concepts with student‐centered strategies.

Students will also have an online class session with their science and language arts teachers one day each week. The time of day they are presented may vary.

1:40‐3:00
Student works on daily lessons, as outlined by the teacher (in the course calendar). Teachers are available by phone, email, and via the online chat tool for assistance.

7:00‐7:30
Optional online class session and tutoring in various subjects.
